A big question mark hangs over the Italian Football League.
The title of the country’s top-flight, the Serie A, is something of a joke.
But there’s a reason the Serie B, the lower-league, has managed to become the biggest league in Europe.
The top clubs are worth a staggering €6 billion ($7.5 billion), and they have been the best performing in the country for years.
As well as that, Serie A is one of the most competitive leagues in the region, and the top clubs in the top leagues are among the best-paid workers in the industry.
There is an argument to be made for the top two teams in Serie A winning the title.
But, at least for now, the best teams in the league are Juventus, who currently sit in sixth place.
How did the Serie C, the second tier, become the best league in Italy?
The league was formed in 1961, the year that Italian football was formed.
The league has only had one owner since that date, the footballing magnate Franco Zola, who was succeeded by Carlo Ancelotti.
But it has also had some of the highest earners in Italian football history, including the likes of Gianluca Vialli and Alessandro Del Piero.
In his early days, Vialli’s agent, Marcello Gherardi, was the league’s highest-paid player.
But the deal was a bad one.
Gher, who is now a journalist, had no interest in paying more money to his client than he was owed, and he was forced to sell the rights to his contract.
After the club folded, he went to the Italian club Cesena, who were also struggling financially.
But he eventually got a second chance and became one of Cesena’s highest earners, receiving €7 million from the club in the 2015/16 season.
He continued to be one of Juventus’ highest earners when he took over as president in 2016.
Ghere’s second contract was with Inter, who are currently in fifth place, and has paid him €1.5 million per year for his two seasons at the club.
But in the second half of last season, his contract with the club expired.
He signed a two-year extension, which included a €4.5m buy-out clause.
He was paid €2.3m for the first three months of 2018, then the new deal took him to €6.5-million.
That was a record-breaking amount for a football player.
Ghedardini has been a huge draw at Juventus.
He has been their captain since the age of 18, and also has been the club’s highest paid player.
He received €20 million in the last two seasons, making him one of Italy’s top earners.
In 2017/18, he scored 21 goals in all competitions for Juventus, becoming the youngest player to reach that feat.
In 2018/19, Ghedardi received €16.8 million, which was the most he ever made.
He had a total of seven goals, including a brace in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.
Juventus were third in Serie B in terms of points, behind Inter and Napoli, when they qualified for the Champions Cup final.
But with Gheddini still at the helm, they finished eighth in the table, losing out on a place in the quarter-finals.
Ghesi is not the only one to receive big sums.
Other players who are well known to the Juventus fans include Mario Mandzukic, who won the Champions Leagues Golden Boot in 2016 and also received €4 million from Inter in 2018/20, and Leonardo Bonucci, who received €8.3 million in 2017/2018.
All three players were signed during the 2016/17 and 2017/19 seasons, and both Mandzuka and Bonucci have been big earners since then.
The next two players to earn €6-million are Andrea Barzagli and Daniele De Rossi, who both made €5 million last season.
Gedardi also has a contract with Juventus until 2021/22.
His next contract, which includes a €2-million buy-back clause, will be a record for a footballer.
This will be the biggest deal ever paid to a player, with another Italian player, Andrea Pirlo, earning €4-million in 2016/2017.
It’s clear Ghedhardi’s big contract has helped his team.
They won the title in the first half of this season, and have been third in the Serie D table since then, with just a game to go.
They are currently third in Italy, with six games remaining.
They finished top of the table in both 2017/8 and 2018/9.
The Bianconeri have a very strong squad and can compete with teams in England, Germany and Russia.
They have also been in the Europa League for a couple of years, and this season they
