BHINI, India — A hot app for female users to watch videos on the move has just been launched by a Bangalore-based startup.
It is the latest in a series of mobile apps that have been launched across India, including one from a group of female entrepreneurs in Bengaluru.
The app, called Hot Video, is a mobile app for users to find the best hot video clips, and also the hottest videos from various social media platforms and platforms.
It uses Google’s Content Intelligence Platform to find and tag the best content from social media and video sharing platforms, and automatically tags and tags all the videos that are available in the app.
The app also provides access to various other social networking sites and apps like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, among others.
“We have created Hot Video to be a mobile platform for women, who can access video and make their own video clips easily and quickly,” said Rakesh Thakur, CEO of the company.
The company is currently raising $1 million in Series A funding from BHim Capital, and plans to launch the app in Bengalurov, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in the next few months.
