Fans of the HBO hit show Game of Thrones will be happy to hear that it is still one of TV’s top-rated shows.
In the US and Canada, it has a 1.2 rating, a slight improvement over last season’s 1.0, and the most-watched series of the year, according to Nielsen data.
It has also topped the chart in the United Kingdom and the UK-based Nielsen ratings company said that the US has the most popular TV shows.
HBO has not released the ratings for other territories.
The first season of the drama series was broadcast in the US in December 2015.
The US has seen an upsurge in the popularity of the show since the series finale in February, when the show returned for its second season.
HBO said it is now the most streamed TV show on YouTube and has surpassed the 200 million mark for most views.
Its success has also made it one of HBO’s top brands and the company is developing new shows for the platform, which is also owned by Paramount Pictures.
