An explosion at the Jakarta airport left two dead and more than 70 injured, officials said.
Indonesia’s Ministry of Civil Aviation said the blast occurred at the airport’s terminal building.
The ministry said that the blast hit the airport hangar, causing it to collapse.
An official at the Indonesian Air Force’s headquarters in Bali said the airport has no power and that it is not safe for passengers to board planes at the moment.
The Jakarta airport is a hub for international flights and is considered a key hub for commercial air traffic.
